In the period of snowfall in Kurdistan, especially in many parts of the region of Serhat, in the southeastern part of Amed central Sur district, in the Hewsel Gardens on the banks of the Tigris River, almond, cherry, apricot, plum and peach blossomed. 

With the arrival of spring, there are more than 250 bird species in the Hewsel Gardens, where colourful and beautiful floral scents conquest the air.

There are also about 10 species of animals, such as otters, squirrels, foxes, martens and hedgehogs.

Almond, cherry, plum, peach and apricot trees in the Hewsel Gardens bloom as the weather warms up.

The nature that awakens with spring fascinates those who set their eye on it with different colours and beauty. 

Green trees, parks, forests, daisies and poppies are also taking their place in the enchanting painting of nature.
