The Kurdish cultural movement TEV-ÇAND artists said that they will be in action together with the Kurdish people and their friends in Cologne tomorrow, 17 February, and called on everyone to participate in the rally for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.

Kurdish artists from TEV-ÇAND said that they will attend the central rally to be held in Cologne tomorrow, 17 February, to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and a political solution to the Kurdish question.

The artists made a joint statement, calling on the Kurdish people and their friends to show strong participation in the action.

Hozan Şemdin gave the following message on behalf of the artists: “Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been under heavy isolation on İmralı Island for 25 years.

That's why our people in four parts of Kurdistan and abroad are still protesting today. The Kurdish people are taking action to end the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

As Kurdish artists, we will take part in the action in Cologne to be held tomorrow, 17 February. As artists, we will be there with our songs for the Kurdish People's Leader.

We call on our people and their friends to meet in Cologne to end the isolation of the Kurdish People's Leader and to remove the PKK from the list of terrorist organizations."
