Artist Ali Zülfikar will present his exhibition “Reflexion” in Berlin. The opening will be on 10 October.
In his exhibition “Reflexion,” Zülfikar focuses on the social and ecological consequences of war.
In addition to a large portrait of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the artist shows portraits of Greta Thunberg, Antonio Gramsci, Che Guevara and Rosa Luxemburg.
Zülfikar, who has been painting portraits of well-known figures from the worlds of art, politics and activism for 25 years, gives each character a special, personal touch.
The artist has received international attention in Paris, London and Puerto Rico.
The opening of the exhibition will be on Thursday, 10 October at 19:00 at the Maigalerie located at Torstraße 6, 10119 Berlin. International Law Expert Prof. Dr. Norman Peach and art curator Petra Lötschert will present the exhibition.
“Reflexion” will close on 14 November.
