Call for participation in the ‘Concert for Freedom’ in Paris

Call for participation in the concert to demand ‘Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan’ in Paris on 19 October.

A ‘Concert for Freedom’ will take place in Paris on 19 October as part of the global campaign ‘Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, a Political Solution to the Kurdish Question’ that was launched by the friends of the Kurdish people on 10 October 2023.


The organizers said in a statement: “It will be an event where traditional resistance is blended with modern songs and melodies, where the slogan of freedom is internationalised, where voices turn into slogans and unity into solidarity. It will be a unique experience with Mouss and Hakimi with modern French music, Rodolphe Burger, Sofiane Saidi, Mehdi Haddab who will accompany you on the journey of resistance in the Middle Eastern fields, Firmesk with her fascinating voice, original music style and determined stance, and Hozan Comert, Xelil Xemgin, Hekim Sefkan with their tireless voices and unbending personalities, the strongholds of the 50-year struggle in art. On Saturday 19 October 2024 at 16.00, we shout for freedom at Paris Montreuil Expo.”
