Artist Weledkhan opens exhibition of drawings by Afrin kids
The Akershus Art Center in Oslo is hosting an exhibition by Kurdish artist Gelawesh Weledkhan about the children of Afrin and the drawings of children in Shehba camps.
Waledkhan visited the camps in Rojava and Shehba last year and has prepared the exhibition now shown at the Akershus Art Center in Oslo. On display are also the drawings of the children themselves.
Waledkhan visited the camps and interviewed the children of Afrin bringing back their drawings with him.
The exhibition is called “My dream" and opened in Oslo on Saturday to remain open until 22 September.
