Amed City Theater protests police political operations targeting artists
Amed City Theater artists protested the police political operations carried out in dozens of cities. The artists said: "You cannot silence the voice of our art."
Amed City Theater artists protested the arrests of over 150 people, including many artists and many of its members.
In a message shared in Kurdish and Turkish on its social media accounts, Amed City Theater said: "Hevalên me vê sibehê di serdegirtinên malan de hatin binçavkirin. Şanoya Bajar A Amedê rûmeta eat me! Hûn nikarin dengê hûnera me bibirin! Our artist friends were detained during house raids this morning. You cannot silence our art!"
