5th Martyr Herekol Book Fair opens in Qamishlo
The 5th Martyr Herekol Book Fair has opened in Qamishlo. Dozens of publishers from different countries are exhibiting over a hundred thousand books, and accompanying events are being held.
The Şehîd (Martyr) Herekol Book Fair is taking place in Qamishlo for the fifth time. 44 publishers from Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Lebanon and all parts of Kurdistan are exhibiting over a hundred thousand books in Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Persian and English at the Mihemed Şêxo Cultural Center.
On the sidelines of the eight-day fair, there will be accompanying events on social, historical and cultural topics, as well as on Jineoloji, the science of women.
