This morning, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repelled an attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the village of Imo Tomb, east of the city of Manbij. Violent clashes are currently ongoing between SDF forces and the mercenaries in the area.
“In the vicinity of the Qara Qazaq Bridge, our forces successfully destroyed a vehicle belonging to the Turkish occupation mercenaries, resulting in the elimination of two mercenaries. In parallel with that, an airstrike was conducted by a Turkish occupation UCAV on the Serrin city junction,” said the SDF Media Center.
The SDF statement on Tuesday said: “On the Tishreen Dam axis, the forces of Manbij Military Council effectively thwarted an attack by the mercenaries on the villages of Mahshiyat al-Tawaheen and Khirbet Tueni in the Abu Qalqal district, eliminating and wounding dozens of the mercenaries. Additionally, our forces seized two tanks, an artillery weapon along with its ammunition, and destroyed a BMB armored vehicle and two military vehicles equipped with DShK weapons belonging to the mercenaries.”
SDF added that clashes in these areas are currently ongoing.
