The written statement by Jaysh al-Thuwar Command said that the Turkish state handed over 2 tanks to gangs affiliated to Sultan Murad two days ago (on Tuesday). “The tanks were handed over to Sultan Murad over the Turkish province of Kilis and later delivered to the Jaysh al-Sunne group. The muzzles of both tanks were directed toward out positions in Tal Rifat under the guise of fighting ISIS.”

Jaysh al-Thuwar Command pointed out that their forces were in defense position at the moment in consideration of the civilians living in Azaz and Marî, and will open a corridor through Marî and Ezaz towards safe areas in the event of a repetition of such a case.

Jaysh al-Thuwar underlined that they they will free both areas from ISIS occupation, adding; “Turkish state's support to gangs has an impact on the region of Shehba, Syrian peoples and the Syrian revolution. The Turkish border is a safe transit route for gang groups coming from across the world.”

Jaysh al-Thuwar ended its statement by calling upon international institutions and organisations to stop Turkish state's support to jihadist groups.
