A racist group attacked HDP building in Alanya district of Antalya last night demanding the party’s signboard to be taken down. While the incidents in the district continued till late hours in the night, police took down the signboard of the party and handed it over to the group.

After gathering at Cumhuriyet Square, the group marched to the party’s building and started to throw stones on it while police encircled the area and didn't intervene as the attack took place The nationalist group said they would not leave the scene until the signboard of the party was removed from there.

Police then hanged a Turkish flag on the HDP building while the group continued insisting on their demand for the removal of the party signboard, after which police called fire squad to the scene and had them take the signboard down, which was later handed over to the racist mob.

The group later held a march in the streets of Alanya after receiving the HDP signboard.
