Yet another curfew has been imposed in six neighborhoods in the central Sur district of Amed where attacks by Turkish state forces have become constant.

Yet another curfew has been imposed in six neighborhoods in the central Sur district of Amed where attacks by Turkish state forces have become constant.

According to a statement by district governor's office, the curfew for Cevatpaşa, Fatihpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Hasırlı, Cemal Yılmaz and Savaş neighborhoods and Gazi Street has gone into effect as of 05:00 this morning and will last until a further notice.

A previous curfew in the district had been imposed after the murder of Amed Bar President Tahir Elçi on 28 November, and lifted on 30 November.
