A civilian was killed during the crackdown of police forces in Medrese, Biçer and Bağlar neighborhoods of Hakkari last night.

Police forces have conducted yet another offensive against the neighborhoods where youths carry out self-defense against the war concept of the AKP government.

After blockading the neighborhoods with dozens of armored vehicles, police and special operation teams opened random fire around and left many houses unusable by using heavy firearms till the midnight.

A civilian whose ID is yet to be verified was killed during the attack and taken to Hakkari State Hospital. Executives from HDP, DBP and İHD also went to the hospital on hearing about the incident.

While the consequences of the crackdown by Turkish state forces emerged at dawn, the neighborhoods are reported to be calm at the moment.
