The second phase of an aid campaign launched by Kurdish people and Committee of Solidarity with Rojava in the Spanish capital Madrid, has been completed.

Four big minibuses and a truck of aid, which consists of medicine, food and clothing, has left Madrid to be delivered to Sinjar and Kobanê.

The campaign which has been going on for six months was also supported by leftist, socialist and anarchist groups, and will continue with various activities from now on.

A statement by the Committee extended thanks to the Kurdish people and Spanish comrades supporting the campaign which -it said- will also boost the morale of the Kurdish people ahead of the general elections.

The Committee also voiced a wish that the Kurdish people will take ownership of their party in the elections which has a historic importance as HDP is expected to exceed the ten percent threshold which stands as one of the major anti-democratic obstacles hindering the representation of minority groups in the Turkish parliament.
