Woman hit by armored vehicle in Amed dies
A woman hit by an armored vehicle has died in Amed. Police later used real bullets and tear gas against the civilians who protested the woman’s death.
A Kirpi-type armored vehicle hit a woman on Gevran Avenue in the Ofis region of Amed’s Yenişehir district Wednesday afternoon.
The unidentified woman died at the scene, and civilians gathered in the area to protest the incident. Policemen attacked these civilians with real bullets and tear gas, and the woman’s body was evacuated from the street with an ambulance.
