A child aged 13-14 has lost his life as a result of police attacks in the central Sur district of Amed today. A photo of the slain child has been published on social media accounts of police.

Police forces have started to attack people in the district following the imposition of a curfew early this morning. While the onslaught left three people wounded near Four Footed Minaret, police also denied access for the ambulances called to the scene for the wounded.

A photo published on social media by police accounts show a dead child who was labelled as "terrorist".

The child is seen to be lying on a white stretcher, wearing civilian clothes and stripped off his trousers.
