Police forces attacked youths who staged a protest demo yesterday evening in Yeşilyurt neighborhood of Şırnak province.

Clashes erupted in the neighborhood as youths responded to the police attack, during which a 16-year-old youth by the name of Adem İrtegün was wounded.

Hit by a bullet in the throat, İrtegün was taken to Şırnak State Hospital by his family through their own means as no ambulance came to the scene on the grounds of 'security'.

The youth was taken under treatment but lost his life soon later despite all the medical efforts to save him.
