People march from Ranya to Kandil to protest Turkish airstrikes

Masses from a number provinces and districts across South Kurdistan have started a march from Ranya city to Kandil to protest the airstrikes of the Turkish army against the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones.

Masses from a number provinces and districts across South Kurdistan have started a march from Ranya city to Kandil to protest the airstrikes of the Turkish army against the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones.

People in hundreds of cars forming a convoy coming from Sulaymaniya, Hewler, Kirkuk, Dihok, Zaxo, Germiyan and Halabja gathered at the Baxê Giştî park before leaving for the Senrgeser town where they started a march towards the Enzê village in Kandil.

The march led by Kurdistan Free Society Movement (Tevgera Azadi), Kurdistan Patriotic Youth's Movement, Kurdistan Free Women's Movement (RJAK) is being participated by representatives and members of a number of political parties which include Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Kurdistan Islamic Union Party, Socialist Party and Goran (Change) Movement.

The demonstrators will make a statement to the press once they reach the Enzê village of Kandil.
