Clash broke out between soldiers of the Turkish army and guerrillas of the HPG (People's Defense Forces) near the Mount Pamuk in Suveren village of Iğdır province last night.

No casualties have been reported in the clash which ended upon the retreat of Turkish soldiers.

The Iğdır-Doğubayazıt road was closed to traffic for some time due to the clash between guerrillas and soldiers.

It was seen that a truck positioned to close the road was later set on fire.
