Footage of special operations forces that cannot speak Turkish fluently in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district surfaced. In a video titled ‘Special operations hit a building in Yüksekova’ uploaded to Youtube by user ‘stainless yarbay’ shows special operations forces firing at a house with ‘grenade launcher’ type weapons. The building is located near the Hacı Abdullah Mosque in Dize neighborhood, and is owned by the Cantürk family. Cries of ‘Ya Allah’ are heard in the video as 2-3 special operations members speak in Arabic and cite verses during the attack.
