HPG Media Center issued a written statement on recent guerilla actions and Turkish army attacks.

DERSİM

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an assassination action against soldiers at the Dereova outpost in Dersim's Nazimiye district at 17:45 on June 5, and one soldier was killed during the action.

HPG guerillas also burned 1 digger, 1 pick-up truck and 3 tractors of individuals that have been ignoring the guerillas' warning about not cutting down the trees in the Pokus region of Dersim's Nazimiye district on June 5, and detained Mehmet Uğur who was in charge of cutting down the trees in Pokus.

AMED

HPG Media Center recalled that the Turkish army had announced a curfew and launched an operation in the villages of Amed's Lice district on June 4, and warplanes had bombarded the surroundings of Zengasor villages in the Martyr Serxwebun region at 11:30 on the same day. HPG stated that Turkish soldiers shelled the same area and 1 guerilla fell as martyr during the bombardment. The ID information of the deceased guerilla will be shared with the public as soon as possible.

ŞIRNAK

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers positioned at Martyr Kendal Hill in Şırnak's Uludere district at 06:30 on June 6, and 1 soldier was killed during the action. HPG guerillas had also carried out an action with heavy weaponry against the soldiers in the same area at 17:30 on June 5, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been identified.

The Media Center stated that HPG guerillas carried out an action with heavy weaponry against the soldiers near Kêlık hill at 14:30 on June 5, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been identified.

HAKKARİ

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an action against soldiers constructing a road near Leylek Hill in Hakkari's Yüksekova district between 07:00 and 08:30 on June 5, and forced the soldiers to stop the construction.

HPG guerillas also fired warning shots against the village guards undertaking sweep and search activities near the Evliya village of Hakkari's Şemzinan region between 09:00 and 10:00 on June 5, and forced the village guards to retreat.

AIR STRIKES

HPG stated that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Hill Sor and Hill Doçka regions of Avashin between 09:00 and 10:00 and the Şehidan and Mergêzerê regions of Zagros between 09:00 and 10:00 in Medya Defense Zones on June 5.

Lastly, HPG noted that Turkish warplanes bombarded the village of Aşkolke in Qandil's Suredê region between 11:00 and 12:30 on June 5 and damaged the villagers' fields during their attack.
