A new webinar organised by Women Weaving Future will be livestreamed on Sunday at 7 pm (Central Europe Time). The title of the webinar is "The Coronavirus Pandemic as a Litmus Test of Capitalist Modernity".

The global pandemic has exposed the state and capitalism as inherently anti-society.

How have states across the world used the pandemic as an opportunity for more power and war?

How has this affected communities, particularly women and what do they have to say about the future?

These and more questions will be answered by an international panel with Harsa Waliah, Camille Barbagallo, Maryanne Casina, Ayse Gokkan and chaired by Elif Sarican.
