TJA activist Hanim Biçimli passes away in Amed
Hanim Biçimli, a long-time activist of the Kurdish women's movement, has died of a heart attack in Amed. She was buried in the Yeniköy cemetery by her companions.
Hanim Biçimli, a long-time activist of the Kurdish women's movement, died of a heart attack in Amed (Diyarbakir) on Sunday. Today she was buried at the Yeniköy cemetery.
The funeral was attended by the spokeswoman of the Free Women's Movement (TJA), Ayşe Gökkan, members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), members of the Rosa women's association and activists of the TJA.
