A racist attack was carried out on families living in the Kurdish village of Sovetskoy in the Sairam district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan on 25 March.
As a result of the attack, it was reported that a racist mob burned a woman named Xanim Koçer (66) alive in a house. The woman was taken to the hospital by her family, but died.

According to the information shared by the villagers, the last attack experienced by the Kurds, who had been systematically exposed to racist attacks in the village of Sovetskoy, where the Kurdish population migrated during the Soviet war, was on 25 March.
