The HDP Women's Assembly will kick off its 8 March actions on 28 February in Izmir. Dozens of actions and events will be held in 38 cities in North Kurdistan and Turkey.
With the slogan "Together We Will Change. Now is the Time for Women" ((Em ê bi hev re biguherînin, dem dema jinan e), the HDP will celebrate 8 March with actions that will kick off in Izmir on 28 February. Actions and events will be held in 38 cities in 6 different regions.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly said that this year, the 8 March actions will begin in Izmir, where HDP activist Deniz Poyraz was murdered.
On 28 February, in Izmir, a march to Türkan Saylan will be held. Deniz Poyraz will be commemorated here as in all other cities.
