Women are already meeting to plan the activities for this year’s 8 March. The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van Women's Assembly and Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) came together to discuss the program of the events they will organize in Van and in the province for 8 March, International Women's Day. The women met at the HDP Van Provincial Organization building and said that they would increase the struggle by organising many different activities to run up to 8 March.

Announcing that they would start the events in the coming days, the women exchanged views on the content of the program.
