Governorship of Van extends ban on actions and activities until 3 May

The Governorship of Van extended the ban on actions and activities for another 15 days. The ban has been in place for 1,608 days.

The ban on actions and activities first announced by the Governorship of Van on 21 November 2016, continues. It has been in place for 1608 days and it has now been extended for a further 15 days, until 3 May.

The Governorship made the following statement to justify the ban based on Article 17 of the provisions of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No.2911: “Demonstrations, marches and open-air meetings are prohibited pursuant to Article 17 of Law No. 2911 until 3 May 2021."
