Free Women's Union in Yerevan celebrate 8 March

A celebration was organized by the Free Women's Union in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, to mark 8 March, International Women's Day.

Women from Oktoberyan and Elegez attended the celebration held in the city center.

The celebration started with a meeting. While the men participating in the celebration celebrated March 8 by giving a rose to each woman, a minute's silence was held for the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution.

Members of the Women's Union, Jenya Qadır and Seyrana Celad, delivered speeches saluting Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the guerrilla resistance.

The celebration ended with dances and slogans.
