Activists in Duisburg protest violence against women for 3rd week

The campaign organized by Martyr Asya Yüksel Women's Council in Duisburg, held a new action in Averdunkplatz.
Activists carried banners condemning violence against women and flags of the European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E). In the speeches made during the action, the seizure of the HDP-run municipalities by the AKP/MHP regime was protested.
Activists also called on people to join the demonstration to be held on Saturday (23 May) to protest the Turkish state's attack on Zinî Wertê. Activists also called on the public opinion to urge the KDP to end the embargo imposed on Maxmur Refugee Camp and to protest against the seizure of the HDP-run municipalities.
