Attacks by the invading Turkish army and affiliated jihadist groups against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria left one month behind.

In the attacks by the invading forces, sub-structures, drinking water stations, schools and animal farms in central locations are being targeted in addition to military targets.

At least 150 civilians lost their lives and hundreds of others got wounded in the attacks, while some neighborhoods were completely destroyed.

Speaking to Information Center of Afrin Resistance, Roselin Omer, Co-chair of Afrin Water Institute stated that water stations are among the targets of Turkish airstrikes. Accordingly, the water station in Metina was bombed by Turkish warplanes three times.

“Their thought is to cut off the water, to cut off our life, so we give up. They shouldn’t believe that we we will leave our land. We will live here, even without water”, says Roselin Omer.
