SDF: 13 Turkish soldiers and gang members were killed in Afrin

The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has published a 24-hour record of the attacks by the Turkish army and pro-Turkish militia against the northern Syrian canton of Afrin.

The Democratic Forces of Syria (SDF), which have been resisting the invasion attempts of Turkey and Turkish controlled jihadist militias since the beginning of the attacks against the northern Syrian canton of Afrin for 29 days, published a 24-hour review of the events in Afrin.

Accordingly, attacks against civilian residential areas and the infrastructure of the region continue. Moreover, suspicions have arisen again that the Turkish state is using banned weapons against the civilian population in its illegal military invasion of Afrin. In the battles in Rajo, 13 members of the Turkish army and allied gangs have been killed.

The SDF's 24-hour balance sheet is as follows:

Shiyê: The Turkish army and Turkish-controlled terrorist groups have bombarded the village of Erendê with heavy weapons. There is a suspicion that the Turkish state has used banned warfare material in these attacks. Several civilians have been treated as emergencies following the attacks and are under medical treatment in the Avrin Hospital. The international community is silent about these attacks.

Shęrawa: The villages of Cilbirê and Enabkê were hit hard by the artillery of the Turkish army and their mercenaries in the Azaz region.

Shera: Since the early morning hours, the village of Mêremînê is under heavy fire. The village mosque was also hit during the bombardments and has been largely destroyed.

Also the villages of Sarîncekê and Kobelka were put under artillery fire. According to initial information from the region, three civilians were killed in these attacks. Many more were injured.

Bilbilê: The village of Hesen Dêra has been hit by heavy artillery since early morning.

Rajo: The inhabitants of the village of Şiyûx are at risk of massacre and forced exodus. In 2015, the forces of the People's Defense Units (YPG), in cooperation with the International Coalition, pushed back militias of the Islamic State from the village of Şiyûx, and the ISIS groups subsequently fled to Turkey. There are currently videos on the social media showing that these ISIS militia have returned to the village of Şiyûx, threatening to assassinate the villagers.

In the course of actions of our fighters against enemy positions in the villages of Qudê and Belîlka, 13 Turkish soldiers and Turkish-controlled jihadists were killed.

Jindires: In fierce clashes between enemy forces and our units, the deaths of two members of the Turkish-backed groups were confirmed. "
