The 9th trainig cycle named after Martyr Cegerxwîn ended with a military ceremony at the Martyr Ezîz Ereb Academy, where 250 recruits received military training by SDF commanders and US-led international coalition forces in the course of a month.

The ceremony was attended by Raqqa Civilian Assembly co-chair Leyla Mustefa and members, local YPG Contact Office administrator Sheik Hemed Şihadê, SDF commander Mûrad Serhed, YPG brigade head in Aliya region and wise people of the local tribes.

Following the military ceremony, Raqqa Civilian Assembly member Celal Eyaf celebrated the end of the 9th training cycle, and called on the youths from the liberated regions to join the SDF ranks.

Speeches were followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the fighters and the ceremony ended with halay dances.
