100 mortars fired at Manbij in one night

Mihemed Xêr Şêxo, co-chair of Manbij and the surrounding villages Administrative Council, stated that the invading Turkish state fired around 100 mortars in the region on Monday night.

Speaking to ANHA, Manbij and its surrounding villages Administrative Council co-chair Mihemed Xêr Şêxo said: “The invading Turkish state bombarded the villages in the northeast of Manbij last night. "About 100 mortars fell in the area during the bombardment."

Stating that the attacks endangered the life safety of the people, Şêxo also reacted to the silence of the international community.

The attacks of the invading Turkish state started on Monday morning and lasted until midnight.

According to the statement of the Manbij Military Council Press Center, 5 mercenaries supported by Ankara were killed in the clashes that took place during the attacks on the region.
