The people of Northern and Eastern Syria went to the Tishrin Dam to protest the attacks carried out by the Turkish state. The people's resistance continued on its second day.
The attacks carried out by the Turkish state on Tishrin and Qereqozax started on 8 December, and have continued uninterruptedly for 32 days.
The Tishrin Dam is at risk of collapse. Despite the statements made by dozens of institutions and organizations, starting with the Democratic Syrian Forces and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, neither the attacks have stopped nor a serious response protesting these attacks has come from the international community.
The people of Northern and Eastern Syria went to the Tishrin Dam, where clashes continue to be heavy, on 8 January on their own initiative. People of all ages attend the vigil to give strength to the Tishrin fighters with their songs, slogans and halays. People dancing the halay are waving SDF flags in their hands and chanting the slogan "Bijî Berxwedana SDF".
