According to information received, the villages of Basira, Kiskiye and Abu Hemâm in the eastern countryside of the canton of Deir ez-Zor were targeted early on Monday morning.
It was reported that two people from the same family were injured in the bombardment targeting the village of Kiskiye.
The injured were taken to Abu Hemâm Hospital. It was learned that the injured were Emar Salih and his wife Al-Emşe.
In the howitzer and mortar attacks carried out by Difa Al-Watani and other armed groups on villages east of Deir ez-Zor between 7 and 9 August, 13 people, including children and women, were killed, and 12 people were injured.
The Deir ez-Zor Military Council announced in a statement it made 10 days ago that 25 members of armed groups affiliated with the Government of Damascus, especially Difa Al-Watani, were killed in the clashes.
