Turkish forces have been digging a trench at 3–4-meter depth for three days in the west of Kobane.

Mezlum Reşo, a resident of the Kor Eli village, said; “The Turkish state is digging a trench in the villages of Zormixar, Ziyaret and Kor Eli. They might deploy heavy weapons in this trench. They have established 5 points since yesterday. They are doing all this in an attempt to make us leave our villages. Still, we will resist any attack.”
