Turkish forces and their proxies shell Kurdish-held villages in northern Aleppo

The occupying Turkish army and allied mercenaries continue their attacks on Kurdish areas in North-East Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported artillery fire by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on Mar’naz and Ain Daqnah villages and the surrounding areas of Menagh town in areas where Kurdish forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

On April 7, SOHR reported that several rockets hit Al-Shawargha and Anab villages in Sharran district in the Afrin countryside, in areas held by Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo.

The rockets were fired by Turkish forces stationed in the “Olive Branch” areas. No casualties were reported.

On March 28, SOHR had reported that regime forces fired several rockets on two Turkish military bases in the areas of Maklpis and Sheikh Suleiman on the outskirts of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo, injuring two Turkish soldiers.
