YPJ carried out an operation in Manbij to commemorate martyr Shervin Sardar.

The Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) launched an operation on the Manbij resistance frontlines to honor the memory of martyr Shervin Sardar. On September 10th, YPJ fighters from the Manbij resistance front targeted the Turkish occupation army’s base in the village of Bashli, located northwest of Manbij.

In a statement about the operation, YPJ Media Center said: “This base bombards the Manbij countryside daily, endangering the lives of our people. Additionally, the Turkish occupying forces try to send their mercenaries from this base on a daily basis to expand their occupation. The Women’s Protection Units carried out an operation against this base, resulting in the destruction of Bashli base’s radar. Three Turkish occupation soldiers were killed, and four others were injured. This operation was conducted in honor of Manbij’s commander and martyr, Shervin Sardar."

YPJ stressed that they would continue to respond to all attacks targeting women and peoples.
