'The Turkish state deliberately targets civilians'

The people of Manbij, who were attacked by the invading Turkish army and its mercenaries, confirmed that the Turkish state was deliberately targeting civilians.

The life safety of civilians in the villages of Manbij on the border with the areas occupied by the Turkish state and its mercenaries, are in danger.

Manbij residents told ANHA that the Turkish state is deliberately attacking civilians, and emphasized that the aim of these attacks is to force people to leave this area.

Mihemed Elusus, who lives in the village of Ereb Hesen, 20 km from Manbij, said that the Turkish state is trying to frighten the people of the region by firing artillery until late at night.

Pointing out that the Turkish Republic deliberately targets civilians, Elus said: “They are deliberately bombing the places where civilians live. It is possible to see the traces of the attacks in many homes. Even though our life safety is in danger, we will continue to resist these attacks. We will not leave our land. Farmers cannot plough their fields because of the attacks."

Speaking about the attacks, Hemze Ali Hemze, a fighter of the Manbij Military Council, confirmed that the Turkish state deliberately targets civilians and that they will be on duty day and night to protect the people as fighters.
