Six people injured following attack in Manbij

In the clashes that took place during the infiltration attempt by the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries into the villages of Manbij, 6 people, including 4 children, were injured.

A group of mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state attempted to enter the village of Ereb Hesen at dawn on Saturday, while 2 other mercenary groups attempted to enter the village of Mihsenli and a further 2 groups attempted to enter the village of Cerad in Manbij. The mercenaries' attempts to enter these villages continued from 01:30 to 04:30 on Saturday morning.

At the same time, the occupying Turkish army and its mercenaries bombed the settlements with heavy weapons, and reconnaissance planes flew over the region.

The Manbij Military Council fighters responded to the mercenaries' attempts and fierce clashes took place. As a result, many mercenaries were killed and many were injured. The rest of the mercenaries were also forced to flee.

4 children from the same family wounded

After the mercenaries' attempt failed, the Turkish army bombed the villages of Um Jilûd and Ewn Dadat with mortars. As a result of the bombing, a total of 6 people from a family, including 4 children, were injured. In addition, there was significant material damage to the homes of citizens.

ANHA News Agency named the injured as follows: Eyham Elume (7), Nadir Elume (6), Rim Elume (4), Jinad Elume (3), Şaha Ali (28) and Şemse El Reşad (60).

The Manbij Military Council Press Center announced that the invaders bombed the Manbij villages with more than 115 artillery and mortars.
