The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement announcing the details of their latest actions against Turkish occupation forces in response to their increasingly ongoing attacks against North-East Syria.

“As part of the legitimate response to the violations and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation against our people in North and Eastern Syria, our SDF forces have conducted two operations targeting the bases of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries near the villages of Aniq Al-Hawa and Bab al-Faraj in the Zarkan countryside. These operations resulted in eliminating and injuring several Turkish occupation soldiers and its mercenaries,” said the SDF statement on Friday.

The statement added: “The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have escalated their aggressions against our North-East Syria Region, using warplanes, UAVs and heavy artilleries and targeting infrastructure facilities, including power stations, oil fields, in addition to bakeries, hospitals and medical points, causing the martyrdom and injury of a large number of civilians, including children, women and the elderly.”
