SDF retaliates against Turkish attack on a village of Serekaniye

The Turkish army and allied mercenaries continue their attacks against northern Syria despite a ceasefire announced on Thursday.

 

The Turkish army attacked the village of Zirgan in the Serekaniye city Monday afternoon.

Fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) retaliated against the attacks over the right of legitimate defense. Initial reports from the ground say that a panzer has been destroyed and the occupation forces have suffered many losses.

Earlier today, Turkish-backed mercenaries attacked the villages of Xirbit el Beger and Kor Hesen southwest of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad). Fighting erupted upon the retaliation of SDF.

The Turkish forces and allied jihadist groups have also attacked the village of Mishrafa in Serekaniye city today. Reports are coming through of violent clashes in the area following the attack.
