Rojava University Student Assembly organized the Second Spring Festival with cultural events, poetry, songs, competitions and public meals with the wide participation of students and teachers.

Rojava University Student Council co-chair Evin Ehmed spoke at the opening of the festival, which started with a minute’s silence.

Evin Ehmed explained the role of culture and traditions and the importance in preserving the identity of regional components.

University students Fatima Xelil, Nur Mirza, Rolaf Silo and Beşar Horo presented their poems.

The festival continued with songs by students Kemal Cuma, Ariane Xalo and Hêvîar Hemo.

On Saturday, the events ended with 5 groups presenting their local dishes. The festival is expected to end tomorrow with various events.
