Raqqa Canton Martyrs' Families Council opened a 45-day special education period for the children of martyrs at Kewkebet El Tifûle School (Planet of Childhood) under the supervision of the Education and Training Board.
Education and Training Board Officials aim to ease the burden of the families of martyrs and develop the children in terms of education. During the training period, Arabic, Kurdish, English, lessons and other activities are given.
Speaking to ANHA News Agency, the school executive, Zehra Yehya said: "We opened this education cycle under the supervision of the Raqqa Canton Education and Training Board. We want to raise the level of the children of the martyrs. 110 children from the 1st to the 5th grade participated in the education. This number may increase further. We have prepared 5 dictionaries for them. We want to increase children's reading and learning levels with this service."
