The tent protest launched by the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union in order to endorse the hunger strike resistance launched in Turkey’s prisons against the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues on its third day.

Members of Til Temir and Zirgan district councils, Revolutionary Youth Movement, Young Women's Union, Hesekê Canton Council committees, teachers and members of the Health Committee participated in the action on Thursday.

Til Temir District Council Deputy Co-chair Mehmûd Birêc, Til Temir Revolutionary Youth Movement Board Member Kemal Mihemed, Zirgan District Revolutionary Youth Movement Board member made speeches.

'UNTIL THE ISOLATION IS OVER...'

Mehmud Birêc condemned the international silence towards the crimes of the invading Turkish state in the Northern and Eastern Syria regions, in particular in Ain Issa, Til Temir, Zirgan and said: "We support the resistance of the political prisoners in Turkey’s prisons. We will continue to support the prisoners until the isolation imposed upon Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the violations of the Turkish state and its gangs are over.”

Stating that the invading Turkish state violated international law, Birêc emphasized that Russia and international states did not react to the attacks of the Turkish state on the Northern and Eastern Syrian regions.

'YOUTH WILL RESIST THE ATTACKS OF FASCISM'

Til Temir Revolutionary Youth Movement Board Member Kemal Mihemed said: “The Turkish state seeks to eliminate the project of the brotherhood of the peoples shaped by the philosophy of Leader Öcalan. The youth in the region will resist the attacks of Turkish fascism and its gangs.”

Taha Îsa commended the hunger strike started by political prisoners, saying, "We will continue to support this great resistance initiated by our comrades in prisons in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan."

Taha Îsa noted that the Turkish state's attacks on the districts of Ain Issa, Til Temir and Zirgan are aimed at changing the demographic structure of the region.

Many people, including the Revolutionary Youth Movement in Shaddadi and Erisha, and the Young Women's Union are expected to participate in the action tomorrow.
