Manbij Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union made a statement on occasion of the third anniversary of the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state and said, "As the youth, we promise to liberate Afrin from the invaders."
Manbij Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women's Union released a statement on occasion of the third anniversary of the Turkish state’s invasion attacks against Afrin. Members of Manbij Revolutionary Youth Movement, Young Women's Union and Manbij Women's Council attended the event at Beledi Stadium in the city center.
Reading out the statement, Xedice El Hac Eli, a member of the Young Women's Council in Abu Qelqel district, said; “The occupying Ottoman has been committing the crimes of forced migration, sexual assault, violence, torture, demographic change and Turkification against the people of Afrin for 3 years now.
As the Young Women's Union and the Revolutionary Youth Movement, we are here to cry out that we will continue our resistance against all kinds of occupation, especially against the occupying Turkish state. We vow as young people that we will liberate Afrin from the invaders who violate human rights.”
