Kongreya Star condemns Turkey’s occupation attacks and isolation

The Qamishlo coordination of Northeast Syrian women's movement Kongreya Star condemned the Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan, saying, "Our solidarity is with the resistance of the guerrillas.”

The Qamishlo coordination of the umbrella organization of the Northeast Syrian women's movement Kongreya Star condemned the Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan and aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The press statement was read by Kongreya Star member Leyla Ehmed İbrahim in the Cudi neighbourhood. Ibrahim stated that Turkey wanted to continue with the crimes it has committed against peoples for years. Remarking that the guerrilla forces resisting in Kurdistan mountains have ruined the plans of the Turkish state, she said the guerrilla forces will gain the victory once again.

Denouncing Turkey’s use of chemical weapons in attacks, she continued, “

“Ideas of the leader Öcalan ensured the liberation of all peoples in captivity. This is why he is subjected to an aggravated isolation, which we condemn as well. We will continue to struggle for the objectives of our martyrs and ideas of leader Öcalan.”
