Kongra Star members enter 3rd day of vigil in front of Öcalan's house near Kobanê

Kongra Star members are holding a vigil in front of the house in the village of Elpelûr, near Kobanê, where Abdullah Öcalan stayed for a period.

Kongra Star members called for freedom for Abdullah Öcalan on the third day of the vigil they are organised in front of the house where the Kurdish people’s leader lived for a period. The house is in the village of Elpelûr, near, Kobanê.

The house, known as the "House of Leadership" was attacked by the Turkish army last week and Kongra Star has decided to hold a vigil to defend the place.

Kongra Star members put up a tent decorated with photographs of Abdullah Öcalan and the the women’s organisation flags.

Four Kongra Star members join the vigil for 24 hours in accordance with the lockdown decision imposed by the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates Region.

Edle Bekir condemned the attack on the “Leader House” and said: "Leader Öcalan's house is of great value to the people of the region."

Bekir, who called not only to end the isolation on Leader Abdullah Öcalan, but also to ensure his freedom, added that the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria will increase the struggle against the occupation of the Turkish state.

Bekir condemned the silence of the international public opinion against the invading Turkish state's continuous attacks on the Northern and Eastern Syrian regions.
