The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) published the identity of the two fighters who were martyred in the second phase of Afrin Resistance of the Age.

The statement said:

“On December 15, our two comrades were martyred in a clash between our forces and the invading Turkish army in the Afrin region.

Our comrades Brusk Shehba and Zinar Afrin fought in the spirit of self-sacrifice against the invaders from the day they joined us and never gave up the cause. They have always fulfilled their duties and responsibilities with great devotion. They never accepted the occupation and persecution of our people and fought against it at the front lines.

As the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE), we state that we will avenge our martyrs and bring the invaders to account. We remember all our martyrs with respect in the person of Comrade Brusk and Comrade Zinar, and we condole with the families of our martyrs and people.”
