Eleven SDF martyrs buried in Hesekê

11 fighters who fell as martyrs in the campaign carried out by the SDF to foil the escape attempt and revolt in Sina Prison were laid to rest in Hesekê.

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters Xesan Newaf Inêzî, Eymen Nasir El-Herîs, Mehmûd Sêfedîn Hemadê, Dawûd Silêman Dawûd, Hisên Xidir El-Ferox, Ehmed Newaf El-Mecûn, who were martyred in the Gurza Gelan (King of the Peoples) Campaign with a magnificent ceremony held in Hesekê, Mihemed Hemed El-Hesen, Mihemed Îbrahim Semio, Xidir Hisên El-Salih and Ebdurezaq Îsa Ibêd were lied to rest with a ceremony held at Martyr Dijwar Cemetery in Hesekê.

The 11 fighters fell as martyrs in the campaign carried out by the SDF to foil the escape attempt and revolt in Sina Prison.

Speaking at the ceremony, Şiyar Hesekê, a commander from the Hesekê Military Council, said that the people of the region are united around the Autonomous Administration and the SDF and emphasized that the peoples are foiling any sedition.

Jazira Internal Affairs Committee co-chair, Kenan Berekat, said that, thanks to the SDF, the people are enjoying much better conditions. Underlining that the Rojava Revolution will succeed despite the obstacles, Berekat added that they will resist until freedom and democracy are achieved. Pointing to the support given by the Turkish state to the Islamic State, Berekat said that the ISIS mercenaries killed in Idlib are proof of this collaboration.
