A drone belonging to Turkish-backed mercenaries was shot down in the northern Syrian canton of Shehba. The device was reportedly on an attack flight over the village of Beluniyê near Tel Rifat on Saturday when it was taken down from the sky.

Meanwhile, artillery attacks by the Turkish and jihadist occupation forces are taking place in other regions of Shehba. The towns of Şalê and Xirbêt El Şalê are affected by the shelling. So far, around twenty shells are reported to have hit the area. It was initially unclear whether people had been injured.

Meanwhile, the Manbij Military Council (MMC) reported drone attacks in the area surrounding the village of Oum Edessa. The village is located northwest of the city of Manbij on the border river Sajur, which is considered a passage point from the areas occupied by Turkey and its Islamists in northern Syria to the self-governing regions. According to the MMC, the attacks are carried out from the Turkish base in al-Yashli.
